Lynn Stalmaster got his start in Hollywood as an actor shortly after getting out of the army.  After appearing in the war movies The Steel Helmet (1951) and The Flying Leathernecks (1951) and in the TV series Big Town, Stalmaster landed a job in the casting department of Big Town and has been leaving his mark on Hollywood ever since.
